By working remote from DR Nicole's cost is half that of what a comparable employee's cost would be in the mainland USA.

Nicole and the USA manager see and talk to each other every day over video on Microsoft Teams. They use video call with screen sharing to make it nearly the same as if Nicole is sitting right next to her USA manager!

To start, we are not any type of virtual assistant company, nor a call center or outsourcing business. Before explaining our particular business model it is important to understand what happens when using offshore companies like a virtual assistant or outsourcing company.

They hire people as their employees to control and rent out to American companies as low cost, remote, expendable staff.

The workers know the offshore company is really their employer and they are rented & expendable to the American companies. Nobody is going to give their 100% to a job in this scenario.

This fact also explains why most American companies that try these offshore rent-a-worker companies cancel when realizing the failures outweigh the benefit of lower cost.

Let's compare to our business model:

Imagine you hire Nancy Gomez in the USA through an HR company like ADP or Paychex. On paper Nancy is employed by the HR company while she fits in and works for you same as a loyal long term career employee.

We are similar except our HR company and the people are located in the Dominican Republic where the cost for an excellent worker can be 50% less than inside the USA. The reason for cost difference is currency exchange and wage differences with USA.

In this modern world a person can work remote from the DR and see/talk to you live over Zoom or Teams which is nearly the same as sitting next to you.

The best way to understand how service and working with you is to just go through these steps

#1 - Assume you want to hire an assistant to handle your time consuming work, or customer/sales/technical support staff, or accounting, social media marketing etc. And, the cost to hire the better quality people in the USA is too expensive.

#2 - You decide to give us a try and start with 1 person. Our Dominican HR company recruits 3 to 5 people in the DR for you to interview. All are college educated, English/Spanish and have solid job skills. In fact, many are American/Dominicans with family in the USA.

You interview and select Nancy Gomez. Our Dominican HR company hires Nancy to work on your behalf.  On paper Nancy is a permanent contractor while she fits in with you same as a long term career employee. 

FYI, the rules that govern use of long term contractors only apply to American citizens, not to Nancy working remote from the DR. This means she can remain as a contractor for 20 years working remote for you and grow a real career within your company without any legal connection = no lawsuits from disgruntled employees!

There would not be any of the USA taxes, insurance, regulations or any of the overhead costs that drive up the cost of USA based employees.

#3 - We provide a suitable laptop, high speed internet and handle HR, payroll and taxes for Nancy to work for you remote from the DR.

#4 - Assume Nancy starts March 1st. In the final week of February our American corporation wires money to our Dominican HR company to fund payroll for March. We are FRONTING the money to cover Nancy's payroll to work for you. On April 15th, the next month, your company reimburses our American company.

Your Company > our USA Corp > Our Dominican HR > Nancy in DR works for you

As you can see, no money flows from your company outside the USA direct to Nancy. There is no legal connection although she fits in same as your long term career employee.

#5 - The fact that Nancy knows she fits in same as an employee and is not rented as if from a virtual assistant firm, this explains why should give her 100% and want to work for you long term while we fit in the middle as her HR and payroll provider.

#6 - You may ask, what types of people can be found in DR to work for you? A personal assistant who is trained to handle your work, customer, sales, technical support, accounting, bookkeeping, social media marketing - these are all very doable.

Assume you wanted to hire someone with unique skills like a software engineer, we can tell you how realistic or not it is to find people in DR who are suitable. Or, we can work a search and attempt to find qualified people for you to consider.

#7 - Our Dominican HR manager partners with you to help supervise the person or people we set up to work for you.

#8 - The DR is only 2 hours from Miami and same time zone as New York. Many people are American Dominicans with family in the USA. This is not India! If is easy to fly to DR to spend time with your Dominican based staff.

Using Nancy as the example, there is no long term risky contract. You can cancel at any time. However, the ideal scenario is where you train Nancy, she becomes an important member of your company team, you create a long term career plan for Nancy. And, she could work as your remote staff for the next 10 or 20 years while we remain in the middle as her legal HR and payroll provider.
